If your vehicle gets stuck
Ifthevehicleisstuckinmudorsnowitmayberockedoutbyshifting
fromforwardandreversegears,stoppingbetweenshifts,inasteady
pattern.Presslightlyontheacceleratorineachgear.
Do not rock the vehicle for mor e tha n a few min utes. The
transmission and tir es ma y be da ma ged or the engin e can
ove rhe at.
Donotspinthewheelsatover56km/h(35mph).Thetiresmay
failandinjureapassengerorbystander.
Sand
Whendrivingoversand,trytokeepallfourwheelsonthemostsolid
areaofthetrail.Donotreducethetirepressuresbutshifttoalower
gearanddrivesteadilythroughtheterrain.Applytheacceleratorslowly
andavoidspinningthewheels.
Mud and water
Ifyoumustdrivethroughhighwater,driveslowly.Tractionorbrake
capabilitymaybelimited.
Whendrivingthroughwater,determinethedepth;avoidwaterhigher
thanthebottomofthehubs(ifpossible)andproceedslowly.Ifthe
ignitionsystemgetswet,thevehiclemaystall.
