Air is directed throu gh both the panel and floor
RearWindowDefroster
Press the button once to turn on the Rear Wind ow
outlets. This mode is not recom mend ed when
heat is requ ired in very cold tem peratu res.
Defroster and a second time to turn it off. An
ind icator light in the control show s that the defroster is
on.
NOTE:
There is a varying difference in tem peratu re
betw een the upper and lower outlets for added comfort.
The warm er air goes to the floor outlets. This featu re
provid es improved comfort during sunny but cool con-
ditions.
NOTE: The defroster turns off autom atically after 15
minu tes of operation. Each later activation will allow 7
1/ 2 minu tes of operation.
WindshieldDefrost
CAUTION!
Air is directed throu gh the defrost outlets and
side wind ow demist outlets. A small amount of
air also is directed throu gh the floor outlets. Use this
mode with maxim um fan and comfort level settings
for best wind shield and side wind ow defrosting. The
defrost sym bol will glow in amber to show that the
defroster is on.
Toavoiddamagingtheelectricalconductors,donot
usescrapers,sharpinstruments,orabrasivewindow
cleanersontheinteriorsurfaceoftherearwindow.
Labels can be peeled off by soaking with warm
water.
WindowFogging
NOTE:
The air cond itioning compressor is on in this
In mild but rainy or hu mid weather, you r wind ows may
fog up on the insid e. You can rem ove this fog by pressing
the Defrost button. The Mix mode can be used to
mode. This dehu midifies the air to help dry the wind -
shield . To improve fuel econom y, leave in the defrost
mode only when necessary.
