Leather is best preserved by regu lar cleaning with a
damp soft cloth. Small particles of dirt can act as an
abrasive and damage the leather surface and shou ld be
rem oved immediately with a damp cloth. Stubborn soils
can be rem oved easily with a soft cloth and Mop ar Total
Clean or equ ivalent. Care shou ld be taken to avoid
soaking the leather with any liqu id.
GlassSurfaces
All glass surfaces shou ld be cleaned on a regu lar basis
with any commercial hou sehold -typ e glass cleaner.
Never use an abrasive typ e cleaner. Use caution when
cleaning insid e rear wind ows equ ipped with electric
defrosters. Do not use scrap ers or other sharp instru -
ments which may scratch the elem ents.
CleaningHeadlights

Your vehicle has plastic head lights that are lighter and
less susceptible to stone breakage than glass head lights.
The instru ment panel cover has a low glare surface which
minim izes reflections in the wind shield . Do not use
protectants or other prod ucts which may cause und esir-
able reflections. Use soap and warm water to restore the
low glare surface.
Plastic is not as scratch resistant as glass and therefore
different lens cleaning proced ures must be follow ed.
To minim ize the possibility of scratching the lenses and
red ucing light output, avoid wiping with a dry cloth. To
rem ove road dirt, wash with a mild soap solu tion fol-
lowed by rinsing.
CleaningWoodTrim
Your vehicle’s wood trim requ ires no specific mainte-
nance. Your wood trim can be cleaned as need ed using
regu larly available autom otive interior cleaning and pro-
tecting prod ucts. Using a mild soap and water solu tion is
also accep table. Excess cleaning materials shou ld be
wiped dry with a soft terry cloth. Any harsh detergents,
abrasives, abrasive cleaners, cleansers, or chem icals
shou ld be avoid ed, as these will damage the wood trim .
Do not use abrasive cleaning components, solvents, steel
wool or other aggressive material to clean the lenses.
