NOTE: If the system is in the AUTO mode and the fan
control is alread y rotated fully clockw ise or fully coun-
terclockw ise, the control may have to be rotated to the
middle and then to the desired fan setting for manu al
adjustm ent of fan speed .
The air cond itioning system of you r vehicle contains
R-134a, a refrigerant that does not deplete the ozone layer
in the upper atm osp here.

The Air Cond itioning System allow s you to balance the
tem peratu re, amount, and direction of air circulating
throu ghou t the vehicle.
Use
this control to regu late the

amount of air forced throu gh the sys-
tem in any mode you select. The 0
Setting rep resents OFF and the 4 Set-
ting is the greatest amount of air flow.
AirConditioningOperation
To turn on the Air Cond itioning,
choose the direction of the air throu gh
the outlets by selecting betw een the
Air Cond itioning Recircu lation, Panel-
Air Cond itioning, or Bi-Level Air Con-
ditioning modes on the Mod e Control.
