TIRECHAINS
Due to limited clearance, tire chains are not recom -
mend ed.
Snow tires generally have lower speed ratings than what
was originally equ ipped with you r vehicle and shou ld
not be operated at sustained speed s over 75 mph
(120
km/ h).
CAUTION!
TireRotationRecommendations
Tires on the front and rear axles of vehicles operate at
different load s and perform different steering, driving
and braking functions. For these reasons, they wear at
unequ al rates, and tend to develop irregu lar wear pat-
terns.
Damage to the vehicle may result if tire chains are
used.

SNOWTIRES
Some areas of the country requ ire the use of snow tires
during winter. Stand ard tires are of the all season typ e
and satisfy this requ irem ent as ind icated by the M+S
designation on the tire side wall.
These effects can be red uced by timely rotation of tires.
The benefits of rotation are especially worthw hile with
aggressive tread designs such as those on all season typ e
tires. Rotation will increase tread life, help to maintain
mud, snow and wet traction levels, and contribu te to a
smooth, quiet rid e.
If you need snow tires, select tires equ ivalent in size and
typ e to the original equ ipment tires. Use snow tires only
in sets of 4, failu re to do so may adversely affect the
safety and hand ling of you r vehicle.
