Check the engine oil level abou t 5 minu tes after a fully
warm ed engine is shu t off. Checking the oil level while
the vehicle is on level grou nd will improve the accu-
racy of the oil level read ing. Add oil only when the
level is at or below the ADD or MIN mark.

• Insp ect the brake linings, hoses and calip ers.

NOTE: In 2.7L Engines equ ipped with Flex Fuel Engine
(FFV), change engine oil every 5 months or 5,000 miles,
whichever comes first. This applies to both Maintenance
Sched ule A and B.

Insp ect the battery and clean and tighten the term inals
as requ ired .
Check the fluid levels of coolant reservoir, brake
master cylind er, and transaxle and add as need ed.
Check all lights and all other electrical item s for correct
operation.
