Vehicles with trailers shou ld not be parked on a grad e.
When parking, apply the parking brake on the tow
vehicle. Put the tow vehicle autom atic transm ission in
P for Park. With a manu al transm ission, shift the
transm ission into reverse. Alw ays, block orЉchockЉ the
trailer wheels.
TowingRequirements—Tires
Do not attem pt to tow a trailer while using a compact
spare tire.
