THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING  YOUR VEHICLE
All of the keys provided with your vehicle have been  authorized dealer or by using the Customer Key Pro-
programmedtothevehicleelectronics.

Replacement Keys
NOTE: Only keys that have been programmed to the

a Sentry Key௡ has been programmed to a vehicle, it
cannotbeprogrammedtoanyothervehicle.

Systemserviced,bringallvehiclekeyswithyoutothe
authorizeddealer.
When having the Sentry Key௡ Immobilizer
Customer Key Programming
CAUTION!
Youcanprogramnewkeystothesystemifyouhavetwo
valid Sentry Keys௡ by performing the following proce-
dure:
AlwaysremovetheSentryKey௡fromthevehicleand
lockalldoorswhenleavingthevehicleunattended.

CuttheadditionalSentryKey௡Transponderblank(s)
tomatchtheignitionswitchlockcylinderkeycode.
Atthetimeofpurchase,theoriginalownerisprovided
with a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN).
ThePINisrequiredforauthorizeddealerreplacementof
keys. Duplication of keys may be performed  at an

Insertthefirstvalidkeyintotheignitionswitch.Turn
the ignition switch to the ON position for at least three
seconds, but no longer than 15 seconds. Then, turn the
ignitionswitchtotheLOCKpositionandremovethefirst
key.
