MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE
Engine Air Cleaner Filter
EngineAirCleanerFilterSelection
The quality of replacement engine air cleaner filters
varies considerably. Only high quality filters should be
usedtoassuremostefficientservice.MOPAR௡engineair
cleanerfiltersarehighqualityandarerecommended.
WARNING!
Theairinductionsystem(aircleaner,hoses,etc.)can
provideameasureofprotectioninthecaseofengine
backfire.Donotremovetheairinductionsystem(air
cleaner,hoses,etc.)unlesssuchremovalisnecessary
forrepairormaintenance.Makesurethatnooneis
near the engine compartment before starting the
vehicle with the air induction system (air cleaner,
hoses, etc.) removed. Failure to do so can result in
seriouspersonalinjury.
Maintenance-Free Battery
Yourvehicleisequippedwithamaintenance-freebattery.
Youwillneverhavetoaddwater,norisperiodicmain-
tenancerequired.
NOTE: Thebatteryisstoredinacompartmentbehind
the left front fender and is accessible without removing
thetireandwheel.Remotebatteryterminalsarelocated
in the engine compartment for jump-starting. Refer to
_Jump-StartingProcedures”in“WhatToDoInEmergen-
cies”forfurtherinformation.
Referto“MaintenanceSchedule”forfurtherinformation.
Toaccessthebattery,turnthesteeringwheelfullytothe
rightandremovetheinnerfendershield.
