STARTING AND OPERATING
Afterremovingthegascap,placethegascaptethercable
overahookontheinsideofthefueldoor.Thiskeepsthe
gascapsuspendedawayfromandprotectsthevehicle’s
surface.
CAUTION!
• systemDamagecouldto theresultfuelfromsystemusingor anemissionimpropercontrolfuel
tankfillertubecap(gascap).

Apoorlyfittinggascapmaycausethe“Malfunc-
tionIndicatorLight(MIL)”toturnon.
Toavoidfuelspillageandoverfilling,donot“top
off” the fuel tank after filling. When the fuel
nozzle“clicks”orshutsoff,thefueltankisfull.
WARNING!

Never have any smoking materials lit in or near
the vehicle when the gas cap is removed or the
tankfilled.
