STARTING AND OPERATING
Do not install a wheel cover or attempt to mount a
conventional tire on the compact spare wheel since the
wheelisdesignedspecificallyforthecompactspare.
WARNING!
Temporaryusesparetiresareforemergencyuseonly.
With these tires, do not drive more than 50 mph
km/h). Temporary-use spare tires have limited
treadlife.Whenthetreadisworntothetreadwear
indicators, the temporary use spare tire needs to be
replaced. Be sure to follow the warnings, which
applytoyourspare.Failuretodosocouldresultin
sparetirefailureandlossofvehiclecontrol.
Do not install more than one compact spare tire/wheel
onthevehicleatanygiventime.

Becauseofthereducedgroundclearance,donottake
yourvehiclethroughanautomaticcarwashwiththe
compactspareinstalled.Damagetothevehiclemay

Prolonged use of limited use spare, or an incorrect
tiresizeoneitherfrontwheel,maydamagetransmis-
siondifferentialandresultinlossofvehiclemobil-
ity.
Tire Spinning
Whenstuckinmud,sand,snow,oricyconditions,donot
spinyourvehicle’swheelsfasterthan30mph(48km/h)
or for longer than 30 seconds continuously without
stopping.
