UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
NOTE:
The Rear Park Assist system will MUTE the  TheParkSense௡switchLEDwillbeONwhenthesystem
radio,ifon,whenthesystemissoundinganaudiotone.       isdisabledordefective.TheParkSense௡switchLEDwill
beOFFwhenthesystemisenabled.
Enable/Disable ParkSenseா
ParkSense௡ can be enabled and disabled with a switch   Service ParkSenseா
located on the upper switch bank of the instrument WhenParkSense௡isdefective,theinstrumentclusterwill
panel.
actuateasinglechime,onceperignitioncycle,anditwill
displaythe“SERVICEPARKASSISTSYSTEM”message.
Referto“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)”
in “Understanding Your Instrument Panel” for further
information. If “SERVICE PARK ASSIST SYSTEM” ap-
pears in the EVIC after making sure the rear fascia/
bumper is clean and free of snow, ice, mud, or other
debris,seeyourauthorizeddealer.
Press the switch once to turn ParkSense௡ on,
push the switch a second time to turn Park-
Sense௡off.
When the switch is pressed to disable the system, the
instrument cluster will display the “PARKASSIST DIS-
ABLED” message. Refer to “Electronic Vehicle Informa-
tionCenter(EVIC)”in“UnderstandingYourInstrument         Cleaning ParkSenseா
Panel” for further information. When the shift lever is  CleantheParkSense௡sensorswithwater,carwashsoap
changed to REVERSE and the system is disabled, the  andasoftcloth.Donotuseroughorhardcloths.Donot
