If shift conditions/interlocks are not met, or a 4WDLOWto4WDHI
transfercasemotortemperatureprotectionconditionexists,a    Withthevehicleatspeedsof0to3mph(0to5km/h),the
“CHECKSHIFTPROCEDURES”messagewillflashfromthe    ignitionswitchintheONpositionortheenginerunning,
ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC).Referto“Elec-     shift the transmission into NEUTRAL, and raise the
tronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” in “Understand-  transfercaseT-handle.The“4WDLOW”indicatorlight
ingYourInstrumentPanel”forfurtherinformation.
intheinstrumentclusterwillflashandgooutwhenthe
shiftiscomplete.ReleasetheT-handle.
NOTE:
