Power Steering Fluid Check
WARNING!
ThepowersteeringsystemrequirestheuseofMOPAR௡
Hydraulic System Power Steering Fluid or equivalent,
whichmeetsChryslerMaterialStandardMS-10838.
Continued operation with reduced power steering
assistcouldposeasafetyrisktoyourselfandothers.
Serviceshouldbeobtainedassoonaspossible.
CAUTION!
CAUTION!
Donotusechemicalflushesinyourpowersteering
system as the chemicals can damage your power
steeringcomponents.Suchdamageisnotcoveredby
theNewVehicleLimitedWarranty.
Prolongedoperationofthesteeringsystemattheend
ofthesteeringwheeltravelwillincreasethesteering
fluid temperature and it should be avoided when
possible. Damage to the power steering pump may
occur.
WARNING!
Do not use Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), or
othertypesofpowersteeringfluids,whenservicing
thepowersteeringsystemofthisvehicle.Damageto
thepowersteeringsystemcanresultfromtheuseof
thewrongpowersteeringfluid.
