To Release the Liftgate Flipper Glass
Using the Panic Alarm
PresstheFLIPPERGLASS/LIFTGATERELEASEbutton ToturnthePanicAlarmfeatureonoroff,pressandhold
two times (the second press within five seconds of the thePANICbuttonontheRKEtransmitterforatleastone
firstpress)toopenliftgateflipperglass.

WARNING!
Driving with the flipper glass open can allow poi-
sonousexhaustgasesintoyourvehicle.Youandyour
passengers could be injured by these fumes. Keep
the flipper glass closed when you are operating the
vehicle.
The Panic Alarm will stay on for three minutes unless
you turn it off by either pressing the PANIC button a
second time, or drive the vehicle at a speed of 15 mph
(24km/h)orgreater.
NOTE: The interior lights will turn off if you turn the
ignition switch to the ACC or ON position while the
Panic Alarm is activated. However, the exterior lamps
andhornwillremainon.
Remote Open Window Feature — If Equipped
Thisfeatureallowsyoutoremotelylowerbothfrontdoor
windowsatthesametime.Tousethisfeature,pressand
releasetheUNLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmitterand Programming Additional Transmitters
then immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button Programming Key Fobs or RKE transmitters may be
