Spare Tire Stowage
Thesparetireisstowedundertherearofthevehicleby
meansofacablewinchmechanism.Toremoveorstow
the spare, use the jack handle to rotate the “spare tire
drive”nut.Thenutislocatedunderaplasticcoveratthe
center-rearofthecargofloorarea,justinsidetheliftgate
opening.
CAUTION!
Donotusepowertoolstowinchthetireupordown.
Impacttypetoolscandamagethewinchmechanism.

Lowering/RaisingSpareTire
Spare Tire Removal
Fitthejackhandleextensionoverthedrivenut.Usethe
lug wrench to rotate the nut counterclockwise until the
spareisonthegroundwithenoughslackinthecableto
allowyoutopullthetireoutfromunderthevehicle.
