lowed by a graphic display, with pressure values still
shown.Thisindicatesthepressurevaluesarestillbeing
receivedfromtheTPMSensors.However,thesystemstill
needs to be serviced as long as the ЉCHECK TPM
SYSTEMЉmessageexists.
Telltale Light as long as none of road tires are below
the low pressure warning threshold. The EVIC will
also display a “SPARE LOW PRESSURE” message,
andthegraphicdisplaywillshowatirepressurevalue
inplaceofthe“flashing”lowtirepressurevalue.

If your vehicle is not equipped with a matching
full-size spare wheel and tire assembly, it does not
haveatirepressuremonitoringsensorinthesparetire.
TheTPMSwillnotbeabletomonitorthetirepressure.
Ifyouinstallthesparetireinplaceofaroadtirethat
hasapressurebelowthelow-pressurewarninglimit,
uponthenextignitionswitchcycle,theTirePressure
MonitoringTelltaleLightwillremainON,achimewill
sound, and the EVIC will still display a “flashing”
pressurevalueinthegraphicdisplay.Afterdrivingthe
vehicleforupto20minutesabove15mph(24km/h),
the Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light will flash
onandofffor75secondsandthenremainonsolid.In
addition, the EVIC will display a “CHECK TPM

spare wheel and tire assembly, it has a tire pressure
monitoring sensor, and can be monitored by the Tire
PressureMonitoringSystem(TPMS).Intheeventthat
thematchingfull-sizesparetireisswappedwithalow
pressure road tire, the next ignition switch cycle will
still show the Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light
tobeON,achimetosound,aLowPressuremessage
to appear in the EVIC, and the graphic display will
still show the low tire pressure value “flashing.”
