WARNING: AlwaysattachtheLATCHchildrestrainttoboth

LATCHloweranchorsinanyvehicleseat,beingsuretoconfirm

thatbothLATCHattachmentsarefullyengagedbypullingback

andforthvigorously.Achildseatretainedononlyonesideis

creatingtheriskofthrowingthechildaroundthevehicleor

evenoutoftheseatandvehicleduringanaccident,causing

seriousinjuryordeath.

IfyouinstallachildseatwithrigidLATCHattachments,donottighten

thetetherstrapenoughtoliftthechildseatofftheseatwhenthechild

isseatedinit.Keepthetetherstrapjustsnugwithoutraisingthefront

ofthechildseat.Keepingthechildseatjusttouchingthefrontofthe

vehicleseatgivesthebestprotectioninaseverecrash.Onceyouhave

installedtheloweranchorsforchildseatinstallationsafetyseat,assure

thattheseatisproperlyattachedtotheloweranchorsforchildseat

installationandtetheranchors.Also,testthesafetyseatbeforeyou

placethechildinit.Tilttheseatfromsidetoside.Alsotrytotugthe

seatforward.Checktoseeiftheanchorsholdtheseatinplace.

WARNING: Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,therisk

ofachildbeinginjuredinacollisiongreatlyincreases.
