canalsobeusedtopreventundesirableodorsfromenteringthe
vehicle.

A/C-Usesoutsideairtocoolthevehicle.ItisquieterthanMAXA/C
butnotaseconomical.Airflowwillbefromtheinstrumentpanel
registers.
(Panel)-Distributesoutsideairthroughtheinstrumentpanel
registers.However,theairwillnotbecooledbelowtheoutside
temperaturebecausetheairconditioningdoesnotoperateinthis
mode.

OFF-Outsideairisshutoutandthefanwillnotoperate.Forshort
periodsoftimeonly,usethismodetopreventundesirableodorsfrom
enteringthevehicle.
• panelregistersandthefloorducts.Heatingcapabilitiesareprovidedin
thismode.Foraddedcustomercomfort,whenthetemperature
controlknobisanywhereinbetweenthefullhotandfullcold
positions,theairdistributedthroughthefloorductswillbeslightly
warmerthantheairsenttotheinstrumentpanelregisters.However,
theairwillnotbecooledbelowtheoutsidetemperaturebecausethe
airconditioningdoesnotoperateinthismode.
(Panelandfloor)-Distributesoutsideairthroughtheinstrument

(Floor)-Allowsformaximumheatingbydistributingoutsideair
throughthefloorducts.However,theairwillnotbecooledbelowthe
outsidetemperaturebecausetheairconditioningdoesnotoperatein
thismode.

(Flooranddefrost)-Distributesoutsideairthroughthewindshield
defrosterductsandthefloorducts.Heatingandairconditioning
capabilitiesareprovidedinthismode.Foraddedcustomercomfort,
whenthetemperaturecontrolknobisanywhereinbetweenthefull
hotandfullcoldpositions,theairdistributedthroughthefloorducts
willbeslightlywarmerthantheairsenttothewindshielddefrost
ducts.Ifthetemperatureisabout6°C(43°F)orhigher,theair
conditionerwillautomaticallydehumidifytheairtoreducefogging.
