PERIMETER ALARM SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Theperimeteranti-theftsystemwillrespondifunauthorizedentryis
attempted.
Ifthereisanypotentialperimeteranti-theftproblemwithyourvehicle,
ensureALLkeyfobs(remoteentrytransmitters)arebroughtto
authorizedMazdadealership,toaidintroubleshooting.
Arming the system
Whenarmed,thissystemwillrespondifunauthorizedentryis
attempted.Whenunauthorizedentryoccurs,thesystemwillflashthe
headlamps,parkinglampsandwillsoundthehorn.
Thesystemisreadytoarmwheneverkeyisremovedfromtheignition.
Eitherofthefollowingactionswillprearmthealarmsystem:

Presstheremoteentrylock
control
Lockthedoorsusingthekey
NOTE:Ifadoorisopen,thesystemisnotarmed.
Thesystemwillbecomeprearmed,whenalldoorsareclosed.Whenthe
systembecomesprearmedtheflasherswillflashtoconfirmthe
prearming.
Oncethesystemisprearmed,thesystemwillarmin20seconds.Ifany
doorisopenedduringthese20seconds,thearmingwillbecanceled.
