theignitionto2(ACC),insertthesecondpreviouslyprogrammed
codedkeyintotheignitionandturntheignitionfrom2(ACC)to3
(ON)(maintainignitionin3(ON)foratleastonesecondbutno
morethantenseconds).

Turntheignitionto1(LOCK)andremovethesecondcodedkey
fromtheignition.
Within20secondsofturningtheignitionto2(ACC),insertthenew
unprogrammedkey(newkey/valetkey)intotheignitionandturn
theignitionfrom2(ACC)to3(ON)(maintainignitionin3(ON)for
atleastonesecond).Thisstepwillprogramyournewkeytoacoded
key.

Toprogramadditionalnewunprogrammedkey(s),repeatthis
procedurefromstep1.
Ifsuccessful,thenewcodedkey(s)willstartthevehicle’sengineandthe
theftindicatorwillilluminateforthreesecondsandthengoout.
Ifnotsuccessful,thenewcodedkey(s)willnotstartthevehicle’sengine
andthetheftindicatorwillflashonandoffandyoumayrepeatsteps1
through6.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyourauthorizedMazda
dealershiptohavethenewsparekey(s)programmed.
