Thelightmayalsoflashsteadilyifatransmissionmalfunctionis
detected.IfthelightdoesnotcomeonwhentheTransmission
ControlSwitchisdepressedorifthelightflashessteadily,have
yourvehicleservicedassoonaspossibleordamagetothe
transmissioncouldoccur.
Low coolant (if equipped)
Thislampwillilluminatewhenthe
enginecoolantinsidethereservoiris
low.Thislampwillilluminatewhen
theignitionisfirstturnedtotheON
position,butthenshouldturnoff.
Ifthelampstayson,toavoidenginedamageyoushouldallowthe
enginetocooldown,thencheckthecoolantlevelinsidethe
reservoir.
Forinstructionsonaddingcoolant,seeEnginecoolantin
theMaintenanceandcarechapter.
