authorizedMazdadealershipforinspection.Inspectthesafetybeltsto
makesuretherearenonicks,tearsorcuts,replacingifnecessary.All
safetybeltassemblies,includingretractors,buckles,frontseatbelt
buckleassemblies,bucklesupportassemblies(slidebar-ifequipped),
shoulderbeltheightadjusters(ifequipped),shoulderbeltguideon
seatback(ifequipped),childsafetyseattetherbracketassemblies
(ifequipped),LATCHchildseattetheranchorsandloweranchors
(ifequipped),andattachinghardware,shouldbeinspectedaftera
collision.Mazdarecommendsthatallsafetybeltassembliesusedin
vehiclesinvolvedinacollisionbereplaced.However,ifthecollisionwas
minorandanauthorizedMazdatechnicianfindsthatthebeltsdonot
showdamageandcontinuetooperateproperly,theydonotneedtobe
replaced.Safetybeltassembliesnotinuseduringacollisionshouldalso
beinspectedandreplacedifeitherdamageorimproperoperationis
noted.
