Cleaning the wheels

Washwiththesamedetergentasthebodyofyourvehicle.Donotuse

acid-basedoralcohol-basedwheelcleaners,steelwool,fuelorstrong

detergents.Neveruseabrasivesthatwilldamagethefinishofspecial

wheelsurfaces.Useatarremovertoremovegreaseandtar.

Thebrushesusedinsomeautomaticcarwashesmaydamagethe

finishonyourwheels.Beforegoingtoacarwash,findoutifthe

brushesareabrasive.

Cleaning non-painted plastic exterior parts

Usevinylcleanerforroutinecleaning.Cleanwithatarremoverif

necessary.Donotcleanplasticpartswiththinners,solventsor

petroleum-basedcleaners.

Cleaning the exterior lamps

Washwiththesamedetergentastheexteriorofyourvehicle.If

necessary,useatarremover.

Toavoidscratchingthelamps,donotuseadrypapertowel,chemical

solventsorabrasivecleaners.

Cleaning the wiper blades, windshield and rear window

Ifthewiperbladesdonotwipeproperly,cleanthewiperbladerubber

elementwithundilutedwindshieldwashersolutionoramilddetergent.

Toavoiddamagingtheblades,donotusefuel,kerosene,paintthinneror

othersolvents.

Ifthewiperstilldoesnotwipeproperly,thiscouldbecausedby

substancesonthewindshieldorrearwindowsuchastreesapandsome

hotwaxtreatmentsusedbycommercialcarwashes.Cleantheoutsideof

thewindshieldorrearwindowwithanon-abrasivecleaner.Donotuse

abrasivecleansersonglassastheymaycausescratches.Thewindshield

orrearwindowiscleanifbeadsdonotformwhenyourinseitwith

water.Thewindshield,rearwindowandwiperbladesshouldbecleaned

onaregularbasis,andbladesorrubberelementsreplacedwhenworn.
