perform the following steps:

Turn the key to position 0 (OFF).

Wait for 5 seconds.
CAUTION
Position the gear selector lever to ’P’
(Park).

DONOTattempt to tow the vehicle
unless the starter switch is turned to
position ’I’ (to unlock the steering),
except when position ’II’ is necessary.
NOTE: The transfer gearbox is now in neutral
and the steering wheel is unlocked. DONOT
remove the ignition key. The vehicle MUST
remain in this condition whilst being towed on
all four wheels.
DONOTattempt to remove the starter
key, or turn the switch to position ’0’,
whilst the vehicle is in motion.
