Safety warnings are included in this
handbook. These indicate a procedure which

cause cancer and birth defects or other
reproductive harm.
WARNING
Your Range Rover has a higher ground
clearance and hence a higher centre of
gravity than ordinary passenger cars, to
enable the vehicle to perform in a wide
variety of off-road applications. An
advantage of the higher ground clearance is
a better view of the road allowing you to
anticipate problems. The Range Rover is not
designed for cornering at the same speed as
conventional passenger cars any more than
a low slung sports car is designed to
perform satisfactorily under off-road
conditions. If at all possible, avoid sharp
turns or abrupt manoeuvres. As with other
vehicles of this type, failure to operate the
Range Rover correctly may result in loss of
control or vehicle roll-over. For important
safety information, be sure to read the
"on-road"and "off-road"driving guidelines
given later in this handbook.
