Inserttheignitionkey,turnthe
switchtoOFFpositionandholdin
OFFpositionwhileremovingthe
key.
2.
Whentheignitionisturnedtothe
ONpositiontheOFFlight
illuminatesbriefly,momentarily
shutsoffandthenturnsbackon.
Thisindicatesthatthepassengerair
bagisdeactivated.
PASSENGER  AIRBAG
OFF
ON
OFF
IftheOFFlightfailstoilluminatewhenthepassengerairbag
switchisintheOFFpositionandtheignitionswitchisinON,
havethepassengerairbagswitchservicedatyourFordor
Lincoln-Mercurydealerimmediately.
Inordertoavoidinadvertentactivationoftheswitch,always
removetheignitionkeyfromthepassengerairbagON/OFF
switch.
