MANUAL TRANSMISSION OPERATION (IF EQUIPPED)
Using the clutch
Themanualtransmissionhasastarterinterlockthatpreventscranking
theengineunlesstheclutchpedalisfullydepressed.
Tostartthevehicle:

Makesuretheparkingbrakeisfullyset.
Presstheclutchpedaltothefloor,thenputthegearshiftleverinthe
neutralposition.

Starttheengine,thenpressthebrakepedalandreleasetheparking
brake.
4.
Movethegearshiftlevertothedesiredgear,thenslowlyreleasethe
clutchpedalwhileslowlypressingontheaccelerator.
Donotdrivewithyourfootrestingontheclutchpedalorusetheclutch
pedaltoholdyourvehicleatastandstillwhilewaitingonahill.These
actionswillreducethelifeoftheclutch.
