Traction:Thetractiongrades,fromhighesttolowestareAA,A,B,
andC.Thegradesrepresentthetire’sabilitytostoponwetpavement
asmeasuredundercontrolledconditionsonspecifiedgovernmenttest
surfacesofasphaltandconcrete.AtiremarkedCmayhavepoor
tractionperformance.
Temperature:ThetemperaturegradesareA(thehighest),BandC,
representingthetire’sresistancetothegenerationofheatandits
abilitytodissipateheatwhentestedundercontrolledconditionsona
specifiedindoorlaboratorytestwheel.

MaximumPermissibleInflationPressure:Indicatesthetire
manufacturers’maximumpermissiblepressureand/orthepressureat
whichthemaximumloadcanbecarriedbythetire.Thispressureis
normallyhigherthanthemanufacturer’srecommendedcoldinflation
pressurewhichcanbefoundontheSafetyComplianceCertification
LabelorTireLabelwhichislocatedontheB-Pillarortheedgeofthe
driver’sdoor.Thecoldinflationpressureshouldneverbesetlowerthan
therecommendedpressureonthevehiclelabel.
Thetiresuppliersmayhaveadditionalmarkings,notesorwarningssuch
asstandardload,radialtubeless,etc.
