AftercompletingSteps1and2
outlinedinthe“Programming”
section,replaceStep3withthe
following:
Note:Ifprogrammingagaragedooropenerorgateoperator,itis
advisedtounplugthedeviceduringthe“cycling”processtoprevent
overheating.

ContinuetopressandholdtheHomeLink௡button(noteStep3inthe
“Programming”section)whileyoupressandrelease—everytwo
seconds(“cycle”)yourhand-heldtransmitteruntilthefrequency
signalhasbeenacceptedbytheHomeLink௡.Theindicatorlightwill
flashslowlyandthenrapidlyafterHomeLink௡acceptstheradio
frequencysignal.

ProceedwithStep4inthe“Programming”section.

Tooperate,simplypressandrelease
theappropriateHomeLink௡button.
Activationwillnowoccurforthe
trainedproduct(garagedoor,gate
operator,securitysystem,entry
doorlock,orhomeorofficelighting
etc.).Forconvenience,the
hand-heldtransmitterofthedevice
mayalsobeusedatanytime.Inthe
