Ahoodthatisnotclosedandsecurely
lockedisdangerousasitcouldfly
openwhilethevehicleismovingand
blockthedriver'svisionwhichcould
resultinaseriousaccident.

releasehandletounlockthehood.

Checkunderthehoodareatomake
certainallfillercapsareinplaceand
alllooseitems(e.g.tools,oil
containers,etc.)havebeenremoved.
Insertthesupportrodinitsclipwhile
holdingupthehood.Verifythatthe
supportrodissecuredintheclipbefore
closingthehood.
Closethehoodsothatitlockssecurely.
Release handle

Slidethehoodlatchtotherightandlift
thehood.
