PresstheDSCOFFswitchtoturnoffthe
TCS/DSC.TheDSCOFFindicatorlight
willilluminate.
IftheDSCOFFswitchispressed
andheldforasecondormore,the
TCS/DSCsystemmaybecome
inoperativeduetothesystem
detectingswitchtrouble.IftheTCS/
DSCsystembecomesinoperative,
theTCS/DSCandtheDSCOFF
indicatorlightsilluminate
l
simultaneously.Inthiscase,turnoff
theengineandrestartittorestorethe
TCS/DSC.
PresstheswitchagaintoturntheTCS/
DSCbackon.TheDSCOFFindicator
lightwillgoout.
NOTE
WhenDSCisonandyouattemptto
l
freethevehiclewhenitisstuck,or
driveitoutoffreshlyfallensnow,
theTCS(partoftheDSCsystem)
willactivate.Depressingthe
acceleratorwillnotincreaseengine
powerandfreeingthevehiclemay
bedifficult.
Whenthishappens,turnofftheTCS/
DSC.
IftheTCS/DSCisoffwhenthe
l
engineisturnedoff,itautomatically
activateswhentheignitionswitchis
turnedon.
LeavingtheTCS/DSConwill
l
providethebeststability.Whenthe
TCS/DSCisoff,theTCS/DSCdoes
notactivatebutthebrakeLSD
(LimitedSlipDifferentials)function
remains.
