WARNING
Donotdriveyourvehicleifyousmellexhaustgasinsidethevehicle:
Engineexhaustgasisdangerous.Thisgascontainscarbonmonoxide(CO),whichis
colorless,odorless,andpoisonous.Wheninhaled,itcancauselossofconsciousness
anddeath.Ifyousmellexhaustgasinsideyourvehicle,keepallwindowsfullyopen
andcontactanAuthorizedMazdaDealerimmediately.
Donotruntheenginewheninsideanenclosedarea:
Runningtheengineinsideanenclosedarea,suchasagarage,isdangerous.Exhaust
gas,whichcontainspoisonouscarbonmonoxide,couldeasilyenterthecabin.Lossof
consciousnessorevendeathcouldoccur.
Openthewindowsoradjusttheheatingorcoolingsystemtodrawfreshairwhen
idlingtheengine:
Exhaustgasisdangerous.Whenyourvehicleisstoppedwiththewindowsclosedand
theenginerunningforalongtimeeveninanopenarea,exhaustgas,whichcontains
poisonouscarbonmonoxide,couldenterthecabin.Lossofconsciousnessoreven
deathcouldoccur.
Clearsnowfromunderneathandaroundyourvehicle,particularlythetailpipe,
beforestartingtheengine:
Runningtheenginewhenavehicleisstoppedindeepsnowisdangerous.Theexhaust
pipecouldbeblockedbythesnow,allowingexhaustgastoenterthecabin.Because
exhaustgascontainspoisonouscarbonmonoxide,itcouldcauselossof
consciousnessorevendeathtooccupantsinthecabin.
