seatbeltthatwasusedinanaccident

beltwithanexpendedpretensioneror
loadlimiterloadedreducesthesafety
availabletoyou.Liketheairbags,the
seatbeltpretensionerswillonly
positioning,thepretensionerandload
limitingsystemscannotprovide
adequateprotectioninanaccident
andthiscouldresultinseriousinjury.

Donotmodifythecomponentsor
wiring,oruseelectronictesting
devicesonthepretensionersystem:
Modifyingthecomponentsorwiring
ofthepretensionersystem,including
theuseofelectronictestingdevicesis
dangerous.Youcouldaccidentally
activateitormakeitinoperablewhich
wouldpreventitfromactivatinginan
accident.Theoccupantsorrepairers
couldbeseriouslyinjured.
