Ifthevehiclehassatisfiedallthe
followingoperationconditions,thepower
liftgatecanbeopenedusingthepower
function.
Pressthepowerliftgateswitchforabout
onesecondormorewhiletheliftgateisin
thefullyclosed/openposition.Thehazard
warninglightsflashtwiceandtheliftgate
opens/closesfullyafterthebeepsoundis
heard.

Thepowerliftgateisunlocked.
Theshiftleverisinpark(P)whenthe
ignitionswitchisintheONposition.
NOTE
Ifcondition(2)isnotsatisfiedwhilethe

powerliftgateisopeningelectrically,the
beepsoundwillbeheardandtheliftgate
willmoveinthereversedirection
automatically.
Ifcondition(2)isnotsatisfiedwhilethe
powerliftgateisclosingelectrically,the
beepsoundwillbeheardandtheliftgate
continuesclosing.

Whencondition(2)issatisfied,youcan
resumepowerliftgateopen/closeoperation
withtheswitches.
WhentheignitionswitchisintheON
position,thetransmitterdoesnotoperate.

Pressthepowerliftgatecloseswitchwhile
theliftgateisfullyopened.Thehazard
warninglightsflashtwiceandtheliftgate
closesautomaticallyafterthebeepsound
isheard.
Operationusingthetransmitter
Presstheopen/closebuttononthe
transmitterforonesecondormorewith
thepowerliftgateinthefullyclosed/open
position.Thehazardwarninglightsflash
twiceandtheliftgateopens/closesafter
thebeepsounds.
