Inacollision,theairbagsandthe
frontseatbeltpretensionersystem
willnotdeployandthiscouldresult
indeathorseriousinjury.
Whenoperatingtheturnsignallights,the
leftorrightturnsignalindicatorlight
flashestoindicatewhichturnsignallight
isoperating(page5-63).
Whenoperatingthehazardwarning
lights,bothturnsignalindicatorlights
flash(page5-70).

tohavethevehicleinspectedassoon
aspossible.
NOTE
qSeatBeltWarningBeep
Ifanindicatorlightremainsilluminated(does
notflash)orifitflashesabnormally,oneofthe
turnsignalbulbsmaybeburnedout.
Ifthedriver'sseatbeltisnotfastened
whentheignitionswitchisturnedtothe
ONposition,abeepsoundwillbeheard
forabout6seconds.
Ifthedriver'sseatbeltisnotfastenedand
thevehicleisdrivenataspeedfasterthan
about20km/h(12mph),abeepsound
willbeheardagainforaspecifiedperiod
oftime.
