NOTE
Whenthepowerwindowlockswitchisinthe
lockedposition,thelightoneachpower
windowswitch,exceptforthedriver'spower
windowswitch,turnsoff.Thelightmaybe
difficulttoseedependingonthesurrounding
brightness.
Thepowerwindowscanbeoperatedfor
about40secondsaftertheignitionswitch
isturnedfromtheONpositiontothe
ACCorLOCKpositionwithalldoors
closed.Ifanydoorisopened,thepower
windowswillbeinoperable.
qOpening/ClosingthePowerWindows
andtheMoonrooffromOutside
qPowerWindowLockSwitch
Withthelockswitchintheunlocked
position(buttonnotdepressed),allpower
windowsoneachdoorcanbeoperated.
Thefrontpowerwindowsandthe
moonroofcanbeopenedorclosedfrom
outsidethevehicleafterthedoorsandthe
liftgateareclosed.
Thefrontpowerwindowsmaybe
operatedremotelywhenthepower
windowlockswitchonthedriver'sdooris
inthelockorunlockedposition.
Withthelockswitchinthelocked
position(buttondepressed),onlythe
driver'ssidepowerwindowcanbe
operated.
Locked position
WARNING
Makesuretheopeningisclearbefore
closingawindowandthemoonroof:
Closingpowerwindowsandthe
moonroofaredangerous.Aperson's
hands,head,orevenneckcouldbe
caughtbythewindoworthe
moonroofandresultinseriousinjury
orevendeath.
Unlocked position
Thiswarningappliesespeciallyto
children.
WARNING
Unlessapassengerneedstooperatea
powerwindow,keepthepowerwindow
lockswitchinthelockedposition:
Unintentionalpowerwindow
operationisdangerous.Aperson's
hands,head,orneckcouldbecaught
bythewindowandresultinserious
injury.
