theseatbelttongues(A)and(C)together
andinserteachtongueintotherespective
ceilingrecess.Inserttheseatbelttongues
untilyouhearaclicksound.
NOTE
Toencouragerearseatpassengerstowear
l
theirseatbelts,wesuggestleavingthe
center-rearlappositionofthebeltfastened
atalltimesexceptwhenfoldingtherear
seatforward.
Ceiling recess
Pullingtheseatbeltallthewayoutwill
switchittoautomaticlockingmode.If
automaticlockingmodeisnotneeded,
retracttheseatbeltfullytoconvertitback
toemergencylockingmode.

qRe-attachingtheseatbeltafterthe
middlerowseatbacksare
returnedtotheiruprightpositions
(C)
Tore-attachthecenterseatbeltafterthe
middlerowseatsarereturnedtotheir
uprightpositions,grasptheseatbelt
tongue(A)andinsertitintotheseatbelt
anchorbuckle(B)untilyouhearaclick
sound.Itisnowsecureforpassengeruse.
Topullouttheseatbelt,pressthearea
indicatedinthefigureupwardwithyour
fingerandslidethebeltforward.Then
slowlypullouttheseatbeltfromthe
ceilingrecess.
NOTE
Afterreturningtheleft-rearseatbacktoits
uprightposition,guidetheshoulderportionof
thebeltcorrectlythroughtheseatbeltguide
andfastenthelapportionofthebelt.
