Thethird-rowseatscannotaccommodate
LATCH-typechild-restraintsystemsor
tethers,thereforethesesystemsmustbe
installedontheotherseatpositionssuch
asthesecond-rowseat.Ifthisnot
possible,LATCH-typechild-restraint
systemsshouldbeinstalledtoathird-row
seatusingtheseatbeltdependingon
whetherthechild-restraintmanufacturer
allowstheirusewithoutLATCH
Alwaysroutethetetherstrapbetween
theheadrestraintandtheseatback:
Routingthetetherstrapontopofthe
headrestraintisdangerous.Ina
collisionthetetherstrapcouldslide
offtheheadrestraintandloosenthe
child-restraintsystem.Thechild-
restraintsystemcouldmovewhich
mayresultindeathorinjurytothe
child.
