anelectricalproblem.Continuingto
driveyourMazdainthiscondition

transaxle.ConsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealerassoonaspossible.
Thiswarninglightilluminateswhenany
doororliftgateisnotsecurelyclosed.
Closethedoororliftgatesecurelybefore
drivingthevehicle.

Thiswarninglightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
Thereafter,thewarninglightwill
illuminateorflashunderthefollowing
conditions:

washerfluidremains.Addfluid(page
8-26).
Illuminateswhenthereisan

abnormalitywiththeAWDsystem.
Flasheswhenthedifferentialoil
temperatureisabnormallyhigh.

qAutomaticTransaxleWarningLight
Flasheswhentherearecontinually
l
largedifferencesbetweenfrontandrear
wheelrotation,suchaswhentryingto
pullawayfromanicysurface,orwhen
tryingtoextricatethevehiclefrom
mud,sandorsimilarconditions.
IftheAWDwarninglightilluminates:
Thiswarninglightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
IftheAWDwarninglightilluminates,
contactanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Thelightilluminateswhenthetransaxle
hasaproblem.
