theadvancedkeyisbackinsidethe
vehicle.
TheadvancedkeycanbesetsothattheKEY
indicatorlight(green)doesnotflashevenif
thebatterypowerislow.

secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned

beepsoundoperatesimultaneously(page

Thelightstopsflashingwhentheignition
switchisturnedtotheONpositionwith
thecorrectignitionkey.
Atthistime,theimmobilizersystemis
disarmedandthelightilluminatesfor
about3secondsandthenturnsoff.

Whenilluminated
Whenthestartknobispushedinfromthe
LOCKposition,thesystemconfirmsthat
thecorrectadvancedkeyisinsidethe
vehicle,theKEYindicatorlight(green)
illuminates,andthestartknobcanbe
turnedtotheACCposition(page3-9).
Iftheenginedoesnotstartwiththe
correctignitionkey,andthesecurity
indicatorlightkeepsilluminatingor
flashing,thesystemmayhavea
malfunction.ConsultanAuthorized
MazdaDealer.
Whenflashing
Whentheadvancedkeybatterypoweris
low,theKEYindicatorlightflashesfor30
secondsafterthestartknobisturnedfrom
theONpositiontotheACCorLOCK
position.Replacewithanewbattery
beforetheadvancedkeybecomes
unusable(page3-6).
