theleverandslidetheseattothedesired
positionandreleasethelever.
Donotdrivewithdamagedfrontseats:
Drivingwithdamagedfrontseatsis
dangerous.Acollision,evenonenot
strongenoughtoinflatetheairbags,
coulddamagethefrontseatswhich
containessentialairbag
components.Iftherewasa
subsequentcollision,anairbagmay
notdeploywhichcouldleadto
injuries.AlwayshaveanAuthorized
MazdaDealerinspectthefrontseats,
frontseatbeltpretensionersandair
bagsafteracollision.
Makesuretheleverreturnstoitsoriginal
positionandtheseatislockedinplaceby
attemptingtopushitforwardand
backward.
Makesuretheadjustablecomponents
ofaseatarelockedinplace:
Adjustableseatsandseatbacksthat
arenotsecurelylockedare
dangerous.Inasuddenstopor
collision,theseatorseatbackcould
move,causinginjury.Makesurethe
adjustablecomponentsoftheseat
arelockedinplacebyattemptingto
slidetheseatforwardandbackward
androckingtheseatback.
