Neveruseoneseatbeltonmorethanonepersonatatime:
Usingoneseatbeltformorethanonepersonatatimeisdangerous.Aseatbelt
usedinthiswaycannotspreadtheimpactforcesproperlyandthetwopassengers
couldbecrushedtogetherandseriouslyinjuredorevenkilled.Neveruseonebeltfor
morethanonepersonatatimeandalwaysoperatethevehiclewitheachoccupant
properlyrestrained.
Alwaysuseachild-restraintsystemdesignedforusewithoutatether:
Usingachild-restraintsystemthatrequiresatetherisdangerous.YourMazdadoes
nothaveachild-restrainttether.Thechild-restraintsystemcannotbeproperly
secured.Inacollision,itcouldmoveandinjureotheroccupantsaswellasresultin
seriousinjuriesordeathtothechild.
CAUTION
Aseatbeltorchild-restraintsystemcanbecomeveryhotwhenexposedtodirect
sunlightduringwarmweather.Toavoidburningyourselforachild,checkthem
beforeyouoryourchildtouchesthem.
NOTE
YourMazdaisequippedwithLATCHloweranchorsforattachmentofspeciallydesignedLATCH
child-restraintsystemsbehindthepassengerseatthatslidethroughthepassengerseatwhenitisin
thefullyrearwardposition.Whenusingtheseanchorstosecureachild-restraintsystem,referto
