injuries.
Donotmodifythesupplementalrestraintsystem:
Modifyingthecomponentsorwiringofthesupplementalrestraintsystemis
dangerous.Youcouldaccidentallyactivateitormakeitinoperable.Donotmake
anymodificationstothesupplementalrestraintsystem.Thisincludesinstallingtrim,
badges,oranythingelseovertheairbagmodules.Italsoincludesinstallingextra
electricalequipmentonornearsystemcomponentsorwiring.AnAuthorizedMazda
Dealercanprovidethespecialcareneededintheremovalandinstallationofseats.It
isimportanttoprotecttheairbagwiringandconnectionstoassurethatthebagsdo
notaccidentallydeploy,thedriverseatslidepositionsensorandpassengerseat
weightsensorsarenotdamagedandthattheseatsretainanundamagedairbag
connection.
NOTE
Whenanairbagdeploys,aloudinflationnoisecanbeheardandsomesmokewillbereleased.

Neitherislikelytocauseinjury,however,thetextureoftheairbagsmaycauselightskininjuries
onbodypartsnotcoveredwithclothingthroughfriction.
