thereisnosafewaytoanchorthe
tether.Confirmwhetherthechild-
restraintsystemcanbeusedwithseat
beltsbyreadingthechild-restraint
systemmanufacturer'sinstructions.
Beforeinstallingachild-restraintsystem,
makesurethepassengerairbag
deactivationindicatorlightilluminatedby
usingthekeytoturnthepassengerairbag
off.

Makesurethepassengerairbag

Makesuretoremovearticlesfrom
behindthepassengerseatthatwould
preventtheseatfromslidingbackfully,
andthenslidetheseatasfarbackas
possibletoinserttheLATCHlower
anchorsbetweentheseatbottomand
theseatback.

airbagoffafterinstallingachild-
restraintsystemonthepassengerseat.
