Tires, Wheels and Loading
WARNING:Onlyusereplacementtiresandwheelsthatarethe
samesize,loadindex,speedratingandtype(suchasP-metric
versusLT-metricorall-seasonversusall-terrain)asthoseoriginally
providedbyMazda.Therecommendedtireandwheelsizemaybe
foundoneithertheSafetyComplianceCertificationLabelortheTire
LabelwhichislocatedontheB-Pillaroredgeofthedriver’sdoor.If
thisinformationisnotfoundontheselabelsthenyoushouldcontact
yourauthorizeddealerassoonaspossible.Useofanytireorwheelnot
recommendedbyMazdacanaffectthesafetyandperformanceofyour
vehicle,whichcouldresultinanincreasedriskoflossofvehicle
control,vehiclerollover,personalinjuryanddeath.Additionallytheuse
ofnon-recommendedtiresandwheelscouldcausesteering,
suspension,axleortransfercase/powertransferunitfailure.Ifyou
havequestionsregardingtirereplacement,contactyourauthorized
dealerassoonaspossible.
WARNING:Whenmountingreplacementtiresandwheels,you
shouldnotexceedthemaximumpressureindicatedonthe
sidewallofthetiretosetthebeadswithoutadditionalprecautions
listedbelow.Ifthebeadsdonotseatatthemaximumpressure
indicated,re-lubricateandtryagain.
Wheninflatingthetireformountingpressuresupto20psi(1.38bar)
greaterthanthemaximumpressureonthetiresidewall,thefollowing
precautionsmustbetakentoprotectthepersonmountingthetire:

Lubricatethetirebeadandwheelbeadseatareaagain.
Standataminimumof12ft.(3.66m)awayfromthetire
wheelassembly.

thanthemaximumpressure,aMazdaDealerorothertire
serviceprofessionalshoulddothemounting.
Alwaysinflatesteelcarcasstireswitharemoteairfillwiththe
personinflatingstandingataminimumof12ft.(3.66m)away
fromthetirewheelassembly.
Important:Remembertoreplacethewheelvalvestemswhentheroad
tiresarereplacedonyourvehicle.
