leveloftheFMstationorCDbyswitchingbackandforthbetween

Troubleshooting:

Donotconnecttheaudioinputjacktoalineleveloutput.Linelevel
outputsareintendedforconnectiontoahomestereoandarenot
compatiblewiththeAIJ.TheAIJwillonlyworkcorrectlywith
devicesthathaveaheadphoneoutputwithavolumecontrol.

Donotsettheportablemusicplayer’svolumelevelhigherthanis
necessarytomatchthevolumeoftheCDorFMradioinyouraudio
systemasthiswillcausedistortionandwillreducesoundquality.
Manyportablemusicplayershavedifferentoutputlevels,sonotall
playersshouldbesetatthesamelevels.Someplayerswillsound
bestatfullvolumeandotherswillneedtobesetatalowervolume.

Ifthemusicsoundsdistortedatlowerlisteninglevels,turnthe
portablemusicplayervolumedown.Iftheproblemspersists,replace
orrechargethebatteriesintheportablemusicplayer.
Theportablemusicplayermustbecontrolledinthesamemanner
whenitisusedwithheadphonesastheAIJdoesnotprovidecontrol
(play,pause,etc.)overtheattachedportablemusicplayer.
Forsafetyreasons,connectingoradjustingthesettingsonyourportable
musicplayershouldnotbeattemptedwhilethevehicleismoving.Also,
theportablemusicplayershouldbestoredinasecurelocation,suchas
thecenterconsoleortheglovebox,whenthevehicleisinmotion.The
audioextensioncablemustbelongenoughtoallowtheportablemusic
playertobesafelystoredwhilethevehicleisinmotion.
