metalpartofthestalledvehicle’sengine,awayfromthebatteryand
thefuelinjectionsystem.Donotusefuellines,enginerockercovers
ortheintakemanifoldasgroundingpoints.
WARNING:Donotconnecttheendofthesecondcabletothe
negative(-)terminalofthebatterytobejumped.Asparkmay
causeanexplosionofthegasesthatsurroundthebattery.

Ensurethatthecablesareclearoffanblades,belts,movingpartsof
bothengines,oranyfueldeliverysystemparts.
Jump starting
1.
Starttheengineoftheboostervehicleandruntheengineat
moderatelyincreasedspeed.
2.
3.
Starttheengineofthedisabledvehicle.
Oncethedisabledvehiclehasbeenstarted,runbothenginesforan
additionalthreeminutesbeforedisconnectingthejumpercables.
