jointsequippedwithgreasefittings,lubricationwillalsobenecessary.
CHECKING AND ADDING REAR DIFFERENTIAL  FLUID

surface.

Engagetheparkingbrakefully–
putinfirstgear.

Ensurethevehiclecannotmove.
Cleanthefillerplug.
Removethefillerplugand
inspectthefluidlevel.

Fluidlevelshouldbeatthe
bottomoftheopening.
Addenoughfluidthroughthe
filleropeningsothatthefluid
levelisatthebottomofthe
opening.
8.
Installandtightenthefillplug
securely.
UseonlyfluidthatmeetsMazdaspecifications.Refertothe
Maintenanceproductspecificationsandcapacitiessectioninthis
chapter.
