Whenyouarenotusingtheextensionsstoretheminanotherlocationso
thatnoonewillaccidentallyusethem.
NOTE:Donotuseextensionstochangethefitoftheshoulderbelt
acrossthetorso.

TheBelt-Minderfeatureisasupplementalwarningtotheseatbelt
warningfunction.Thisfeatureprovidesadditionalremindersby
intermittentlysoundingachimeandilluminatingtheseatbeltwarning
lightintheinstrumentclusterwhenthedriver’sandfrontpassenger’s
seatbeltisunbuckled.
TheBelt-Minderfeatureusesinformationfromthefrontpassenger
sensingsystemtodetermineifafrontseatpassengerispresentand
thereforepotentiallyinneedofawarning.Toavoidactivatingthe
Belt-Minderfeatureforobjectsplacedinthefrontpassengerseat,
warningswillonlybegiventolargefrontseatoccupantsasdetermined
bythefrontpassengersensingsystem.
